    DESCRIPTION
    Join us for an unforgettable adventure on the Hampta Pass Trek from August 3-7, 2024. This trek offers a thrilling challenge for both enthusiasts and beginners, taking you through the lush Kullu Valley to the arid Lahaul-Spiti, showcasing the best of Himachal Pradesh’s diverse landscapes.

    TREK OVERVIEW

    Location: Hampta Pass, Himachal Pradesh
    Elevation: 14,100 feet
    Difficulty Level: Moderate
    Best Time to Visit: The optimal trekking season is from June to September. During these months, you’ll witness the valley in full bloom with wildflowers in August and transitioning colors through September. Early June and July offer snowy landscapes, while later months provide lush greenery.
    Trek Duration: 5 days

    ITINERARY

    Day 1: Manali to Chika via Jobra
    Altitude: 9,800 ft at Jobra to 10,100 ft at Chika
    Travel: 2-hour drive from Manali to Jobra
    Trek: 2.5 km, approximately 2 hours
    Highlights: Scenic drive, gentle forest walk, acclimatization at Chika campsite

    Day 2: Chika to Balu Ka Ghera
    Altitude: 11,900 ft
    Trek: 8.5 km, 5-6 hours
    Highlights: River crossings, vibrant meadows, sandy terrain at Balu Ka Ghera campsite

    Day 3: Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass
    Altitude: Up to 14,100 ft at Hampta Pass, descending to 12,900 ft
    Trek: 7 km, approximately 10 hours
    Highlights: Steep climb, panoramic mountain views, snowy paths, and rocky descent

    Day 4: Shea Goru to Chatru, Drive to Chandratal
    Altitude: Chatru at 11,000 ft, Chandratal at approximately 14,000 ft
    Trek: 7 km, 5 hours; Drive: 49 km, 3 hours
    Highlights: Descent to Chatru, scenic drive to the stunning Chandratal Lake (weather permitting)

    Day 5: Chatru to Manali
    Travel: 85 km, 4-6 hours by drive
    Highlights: Return to Manali with beautiful memories of the landscapes traversed

    COST AND INCLUSIONS
    Trekking Fees: ₹7,300 to ₹11,450 per person
    Transportation Costs: Manali to Manali packages from ₹5,999
    Accommodation and Meals: Tented campsites, all meals from lunch on Day 1 to lunch on Day 5

    By Train: Travel to Chandigarh or Pathankot and then take a bus or taxi to Manali.
