Ek Karvaan

I strongly advise anyone considering a Spiti expedition to avoid booking with Ek Karvan.

Before payment, the team called me more than 10 times to ensure the booking was completed. However, once the payment was made, the level of communication and customer support changed completely.

The entire trip was plagued by poor planning and mismanagement. The itinerary was changed multiple times without proper communication. Bikes were not delivered on time, resulting in delays and unnecessary stress for the entire group. Instead of enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of Spiti, we were constantly struggling with logistical issues created by the organizers.

There was no effective trip captain or leader managing the group. Every day, participants had to repeatedly follow up for basic information, schedules, and resolutions to problems. Queries often went unanswered, and there was a clear lack of accountability throughout the expedition.

A trip to a remote and challenging destination like Spiti requires professional planning, coordination, and communication. Unfortunately, Ek Karvan failed on all these fronts and made the entire group struggle unnecessarily.

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone. There are far better and more professional travel operators available. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and disappointment—do not book with Ek Karvan.
